Throw with one hand, catch with two!
If you are throwing with your right hand your left foot should be forward.
Be alert and be prepared to move your feet to help you catch the ball.
You could set up a surface to practise your throwing and catching at home easily enough.
Gutterboard is a great game for practising the skills above. Maybe someone could build a gutterboard for you.
You could maybe even find a gutter and play in that, although I think most streets have had these removed now.
