We love oak trees at St Albans and our field is surrounded by them. The acorns make cross country running a bit hazardous so we decided for Wombling today we'd collect up some acorns. Room 18 joined in.
Who knew picking up acorns could be so exciting?!? Heather will be pleased too. We collected 6 cube containers. We chose some high quality nuts and the caps to keep so we can make some Acorn Bills later in the week.
