House Singing Competition and the Values

Today the whole school COMMUNITY went to English Park to take part in the Great St Albans Singing Competition.
Each house performed songs relating to their colour name. We had Irish dancers, yellow submarines, red corvettes and blue suede shoes - and that's just to name some of the CREATIVITY and INITIATIVE on display.
When it was a house's turn to perform they went onto the pitch and the rest of the school and the judges (Mrs Warren and Cafe Matt) watched. Everyone demonstrated RESPECT and MANAAKITANGA during the items, as they performed and applauded each other's efforts.
It was an exciting event giving us the opportunity to strive for EXCELLENCE in the performing arts. Everyone had FUN in the sun.

Oh by the way Kowhai came first, Kahurangi second and Whero and Kakariki were third equal.
