Tick, Tock!

Time's a ticking. Today we began exploring the topic of time. We found we had more questions than answers. Here are some we came up with:
Who invented time?
How did they come up with time?
Who was the first person to use an hour?
How does a clock know the time?
Why is there an extra day in a leap year?
How big was the first clock? How accurate was it?
Why is a minute 60 seconds?
Why is an hour 60 minutes?
Why does time go so quickly?
Why don't you notice time when you're having fun?
Why do we have the shortest day and the longest day?
Why are there always 7 days in a week?
When is the start of daylight saving?
Why is January the first month - not April?
When it is Summer here it is Winter on the other side of the world. How does that work?
Why does a clock have 12 numbers?
