Science Alive - Fairground Engineers

We were very excited to have Science Alive visit us to ignite our learning about simple machines.

In the first part of the session we explored levers, pulleys, wheels & axles, inclined planes, wedges and gears and how they can be used to make simple machines. 

After morning tea we used our learning about simple machines to construct fairground rides using lego.
