Hot Stuff!

Things were sizzling in the Room 17 & 18 hub today. We were certainly very grateful to the parents who hung our curtains for us - we'd have cooked without these today. After a slightly hectic start we settled into getting to know one another better. The powhiri under the oak tree was a lovely opportunity to welcome new students to our school. We have three new children in our hub so please look out for them and make them feel welcome.

You are probably missing the photos and videos that are usually on blogs to help share the day's events. Due to new regulations we are not able to publish photos or names until we have received the permission form sent home with children today. Please return these as quickly as possible as we have footage of:

  • today's swimming and paddling session
  • the great sprinkler event
we'd love to share with you and your family. Send those notices and the permission slips for our Margaret Mahy playground visit back to school ASAP!

Thank you for an exciting, positive start to living in learning in our hub this year. It'd be nice if it weren't quite so hot tomorrow!
