Wheels on Wednesday

On a Wednesday my nephews' school encourages children to bike or walk to school - they call it Wheel or Walk Wednesdays. Anyway it inspired me to bike to school this Wednesday. This seemed like an excellent opportunity to kick start our observational drawing for 2016.
First of all you all drew a picture of a bike from your memory. Here are some examples:

Next I brought in the red racer and we talked about how when you're making an observational drawing you look at lines carefully and then draw them. You need to look at their shapes and sizes. The way the lines connect is important too.
